It looks like Biff’s search for new ARMS fighters has been going well. Last time we saw him, he looked like he was relaxing more than researching, yet here we are: we now have the first footage of a brand new character coming to the game. There’s not much that can be determined from the grainy footage, though a couple things do stand out.

Those spinning weapons they’re using appear to be new. While we’ve seen ones rotate in the past, these appear to twirl in a different way, going around a center point in a wide arc. We also get a peek at what this mysterious character’s unique trait will be. They appear to puff up, and may even get extra jump height from this. It also may be their means of defense: inflating in some way to ward off attacks.
All of this is speculation based on the above. We shouldn’t have to wait much longer for what’s sure to be a sweet surprise.
