We’ll skip right to the chase — Risky Boot’s DLC now has an official name: Pirate Queen’s Quest! The DLC is complete and is being reviewed by Steam, Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo. Sometime in the near future, those who backed Shantae: Half-Genie Hero will receive a download code.
The Tinkerbat Dance DLC codes are in hand and will be sent out to backers who pledged $55 or more for the game. If you missed out when the project went live nearly three years ago, don’t worry; there’s a chance that the Tinkerbat Dance might come out — but much, much later.
In the update WayForward stated:
“At this time, our desire is to keep this content exclusive to those who backed it. However, we’re considering releasing it at some later date, after a lengthy exclusivity period. We’d really like to hear what you, our Backers, think about this. Please share your opinions in the comments section of our Kickstarter Page.”
More DLC is finished and is being worked on. Skins for Shantae (Blue Shantae), Risky Boots (Classic Risky) and “Drifter Blade” are complete. As for the next DLC storyline, “Friends Mode,” it’s about halfway done. These will all be talked about in the next update on the game’s Kickstarter page.
