Splatfest tees are a very limited thing. Once the corresponding splatfest is over, the tee is yanked from your inventory instantly. This was quite sad back in the original game if you happened to roll the same three sub abilities for it. With Splatoon 2 and the addition of a wide variety of services, you can get a bit more mileage out of your Splatfest tee.
Murch, who will already scrub abilities from your gear for 20,000 coins per item, has a special offer. Once you’re able to vote and pick up your Splatfest tee to minutes before the Splatfest is over, Murch can scrub your tee for 2,000 coins. What a deal! Since the shirt will be yanked out of your inventory regardless, getting some ability chunks out of it and at a discount too is the perfect way to farm these chunks! Good luck and happy splatting!
