Yooka-Laylee’s already been running, jumping and collecting out in the wild for a few months now. While other platforms have gotten to enjoy Playtonic’s inaugural, crowdfunded effort since April, the Switch version’s delay has remained a torn page in this particular story. Although no new information about the game was included, a new tweet has shown the game running in handheld mode on the system.

Is this hinting at an official announcement soon? Or is this simply a work in progress peek? Perhaps, it’s just another opportunity to put googly-eyes on a Switch? Only time will tell, but here’s hoping those waiting for their chance to take the chameleon-bat duo out for a spin don’t have much longer to go.
