Splatoon 2 just launched yesterday, and a DLC weapon has already been announced via the Japanese Splatoon Twitter account. The Ink Brush will return to the hands of all you artistic little Inklings tonight, July 22nd at 10 p.m. ET.

筆のような形のブキで、パワーは弱いが塗り進むスピードが速い。
相手の死角に回り込み、連打でインクを浴びせよう。

Returning from the first game, the Ink Brush is equipped with a whole new loadout this time around, packing Splat Bombs as a sub-weapon, and the Splashdown special weapon. It’s great to see Nintendo kick off the streak of free Splatoon DLC so early, and hopefully there are many more weapons to come in the next year!
