It’s a busy amiibo-filled week of news! We already knew that amiibo would be compatible with Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, but Ubisoft never specified which would work and how they’d function. Plus, we didn’t get those Rabbid figures as amiibo!
The official Rabbids Twitter has been great at answering questions, and with the game almost a month away those behind the account decided to finally share the juicy details. Mario, Luigi, Peach and Yoshi amiibo will work with the game, and each figure will unlock a special weapon for that character and their Rabbid counterpart. We don’t know if they’ll do anything more than that, or if other characters will also be functional (no Toad?), but at least we have this tidbit to hold us over.
It supports the Nin Char Amiibo: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi & Peach. Each unlocks a weap for the Nin char & its Rabbid counterpart
