One genre that is currently a little underserved on the ever-growing Nintendo Switch is the point-and-click. Thankfully it looks like that’ll soon be changing, with veteran game designer Ron Gilbert tweeting out a message and video that practically confirms Thimbleweed Park is heading to the system.

In case you’re unaware, Thimbleweed Park is a throwback to the LucasArts adventure games of old, which Ron Gilbert had a hand in crafting. In particular, its general style is a homage to Maniac Mansion, though the characters and plot have a much more X-Files bent to them.
Judging by the video, players will be able to play the game with traditional controls or the touch screen. Gilbert also clarifies that the port is being handled internally, which hopefully means it’ll be a solid version.
We’ll be sure to bring more on Thimbleweed Park on Switch as it’s announced.
