Sonic games are no stranger to vocal themes, usually serving as the opening songs for their respective games. From “Open Your Heart” to “Reach for the Stars” and more, no matter how cheesy these songs end up, they play a huge part in their respective games’ identities. Sonic Forces is next in line, and today we get to hear a snippet of its own theme: “Fist Bump.”

While the song itself has been heard before, this is the first time its accompanying lyrics by Douglas Robb have been revealed and paired to the song. It more than meets the standard of theme songs I embrace from Sonic games, though I don’t think anything will top “Live and Learn” for me.
