New artwork released on the official PlatinumGames Twitter account in Japan has just set the internet on fire this morning with speculation and hopes of seeing a Bayonetta title on the Switch.

While the artwork looks innocent enough, fans have noticed that the blue and red color schemes used in the artwork closely mimic the colors of blue and red Joy-Cons. While this is in no way a confirmation of Bayonetta coming over to the Switch, even more fuel was added to the fire when PlatinumGames started liking posts on Twitter from people pointing out the similarities.

Keep in mind, this is only speculation at the moment, but with the long-awaited release of not one, but two, Bayonetta amiibo in the coming weeks, maybe a surprise announcement is on its way. Stay tuned!

    OMG, OMG, OMG!

Please be real, my last time playing Bayonetta was at my friend’s house on a PS3. I wanted to play the game on PC since the release of the port some time ago, but a Switch version would be SO FREAKING COOL

I’m still unable to grasp how do you make a console work by just cannibalizing on the games that didn’t make anyone buy the previous one =/ of course, that is unless it’s Bayonetta 3 or at the very least something new =/
