Metroid Prime 4 is in development for Nintendo Switch | Nintendo Wire

This morning during the E3 Nintendo Spotlight, Metroid Prime 4 was confirmed to be in development for Nintendo Switch. Metroid Prime 4 will introduce a new storyline that will tie together the events of the Metroid Prime universe in a first person adventure game, returning to the series’ roots.

It should also be noted that Metroid Prime 4 is the working title for the game, and it’s being led by series producer Kensuke Tanabe and a brand new development team, rather than Retro Studios. The team is hard at work to bring the isolation and exploration of past Metroid Prime games to the Nintendo Switch.
