The upcoming Switch port of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be compatible with amiibo, as was revealed during Bethesda’s E3 press conference.

The Archer Link amiibo was demonstrated, bringing Link’s iconic Master Sword and Hylian Shield into the game, as well as the Champion’s Tunic and hairstyle from Breath of the Wild. Essentially, it will allow you to play as the Hero of Time himself in Skyrim, something previously accomplishable only through mods. The game will also feature motion controls with the Joy-Cons, allowing players to swing a sword or shoot an arrow with motion rather than buttons.

While no other amiibo were shown, it can be presumed that there will be other amiibo compatible with the title when it releases. Stay wired for more information in the future.
