After this morning’s Pokémon Direct, Nintendo released a trailer celebrating their three big Nintendo Switch titles for the summer.

The ARMS sections, for the most part, are pulled from the commercial that Nintendo released recently. Pokkén Tournament DX is all new though and we get to see it played in various modes: docked split-screen, on the go kickstand between two units, and two players just sharing one Switch screen in travel mode. Similar to ARMS, the game will have multiple controller options, though not shown off is the Pro Controller specifically made for the Wii U version (the Japanese site for Pokkén Tournament DX has that listed for compatibility.)

Then there’s Splatoon 2 – there’s lots of new fresh footage everywhere. While we can’t spot the Neon Green and Pink Joy-cons, the Splatoon 2 Pro Controller does make multiple appearances. That will at least be available in the United States, but Nintendo has yet to officially confirm this. We’re still crossing our fingers that the amazing Splatoon 2 Nintendo Switch bundle will be available though.

As the Switch clicks into place, we get our first look at Salmon Run’s UI. There’s a Wave and Quota section as we use the power of teamwork to get those delicious- I mean very valuable Salmon Eggs.

Lastly, props as to whomever is in charge of the set design and arrangement for these commercials! While it’s been noted in the past about some Easter Eggs floating around in the ARMS segments, Pokkén Tournament DX and Splatoon 2 gets some major love too. Pikachu on a dresser next to a photo of Paris and some “buttons”? Check. Inkling Squids hidden about along with some amiibo and a plethora of neon green and pink? Double check. … Also there’s some snack foods that look like Cheetos and the Inkling Girl happens to be on the Doritos & Cheetos Mix bag that Frito-Lay has part of their Nintendo Switch giveaway.
