If you have a favorite season for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Animal Crossing track, then listen up! While the track selection is random, there’s a way to force that internal roulette wheel. No, you don’t have to turn the Switch’s internal clock forward or backward. Thanks to GameXplain and Tingloid at GameFAQs, we know about this cool “cheat” code:
While on the track menu, holding the L trigger will summon spring. The R trigger will bring about summer, the ZL trigger calls for fall, and the ZR trigger hails winter. This trick only works in Versus Mode, sadly. (If you give it a go for the Online Mode and it happens to work for you, perhaps you had a positive fortune from Katrina.)
