When the Nintendo Switch was officially unveiled back in January various third parties came forward with their plans. In Japan, Bandai Namco confirmed a Taiko Drum Master game, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and an unspecified entry in the “Tales of” franchise would be heading to Nintendo’s latest system.

While the former two were always listed for 2017, the latter was a little more vague with a TBD release date. Now, however, thanks to an investor’s presentation (via Siliconera), it’s been confirmed that the Switch Tales of game is set for 2017.

It’s worth noting that this could mean a release in the 2017 fiscal year, which leads up until March 2018. It’s also likely this is only a Japanese release window – there’s no telling when the game will arrive overseas.

Either way, we could learn more at the Tales of Festival, which is scheduled between June 2nd and June 4th. The latest entry in the series, Berseria, was announced at the 2015 festival, so it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on.
