A couple of weeks ago it was announced that the classic Neo Geo fighting game Garou: Mark of the Wolves would be heading to the Nintendo Switch eShop in Europe tomorrow, May 11th. Now, an official listing on Nintendo.com has confirmed the game will be arriving in North America too.

Part of the long-running Fatal Fury series, Garou was released in the later years of the system’s life. As a result it’s graphically impressive and features some very technical fighting. Just one example is the “Just Defend” system, which rewards players who guard at the last moment with some extra health and the ability to immediately counterattack.

Garou: Mark of the Wolves will cost $7.99 once it launches on the Nintendo Switch eShop tomorrow.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
