The roster for Nintendo’s upcoming 3D fighting-game ARMS has seemed a tad sparse, but Nintendo has been revealing more of the roster as time passes. Case in point – tonight, a new, blobbish figure known as Helix (or in Japan, “DNA Man”) has been revealed as a fighter.

Described as a creation of ARMS Laboratory Inc., Helix’s main ability appears to be the flexible and elastic body he (it?) possesses, allowing him to bend, drop, and weave around enemy attacks. The video showcasing him displays some truly epic maneuvering, as Helix bobs around a flurry of strikes with expert precision. He may be the sort who is difficult to master, but proves to be a formidable character when learned. All in all though, he’s incredibly goofy.

Let us know what you think of Helix in the comments, and stay wired for more potential ARMS character reveals in the future.
