Mario Kart 8 Deluxe features a wide selection of Nintendo characters to choose from, and one in particular will prove to be a challenge to unlock. Gold Mario was first seen in a trailer earlier this year, but players quickly noticed that he wasn’t present in the character select screen.
Now, thanks to the good folks at GameXplain, we know how you can unlock the golden plumber, although it might take some time. Players who earn gold trophies in each of the ridiculously fast 200cc circuits will be able to claim Gold Mario for their very own.
