Another week, another Neo Geo game heading to the Nintendo Switch eShop courtesy of HAMSTER’s Arcade Archives. Releasing next Thursday is one of the system’s most iconic fighters (which is saying something), Fatal Fury.

A classic one-on-one fighting game, Fatal Fury introduces various characters who have now become iconic, like Terry Bogard. It’s also where the King of Fighters Tournament originated, which eventually resulted in a spin-off fighting game of the same name from SNK featuring many returning characters.

In terms of gameplay, Fatal Fury’s unique hook is a two-lane battle system. This means you can hop between the foreground and background rows, either to dodge hits or set up counters.

Judging by prior Neo Geo Switch releases, Fatal Fury will likely land on April 20th in both North America and Europe. Also, one week later will see the release of Over Top in Europe, too, an isometric Neo Geo racing game. There’s really no stopping the folks at HAMSTER!
