If you asked me what the least likely game we’d be seeing released just a short three months ago, I would have told you: “A brand new SNES game.” Yet, here we are, and Unholy Night: The Darkness Hunter, a new SNES fighting game from some ex-SNK staffers just went up for pre-order on Amazon.

The game offers six fighters, ranging from a werewolf to a schoolgirl, and features either one or two player action. The look and sound of the game are definitely reminiscent of classic SNK fighters, but the $50 price tag might be a little much to swallow, even for fans of the classic fighting genre.

Earlier this year, the team launched a Kickstarter to fund the production of cartridges for the game, which failed to meet its goal of $52,500. In a recent update posted on the Kickstarter campaign page, the team assured those who were interested that the game would continue to be developed, despite not reaching the goal.

According to the Amazon page, Unholy Night, the first SNES game to be released in decades, will launch on June 19th, 2017. You can pre-order it today!
