Thanks to hacking and data mining, we’ve known about the mythical Pokémon Marshadow — a cute, fluffy Fighting-Ghost-type — since sometime around the release of Sun & Moon. Now the powers that be have seen it fit to officially cast off the veil that had already been torn away months ago, as the franchise’s official social media revealed the Pokémon in a very brief clip late Friday night.

No other details about Marshadow were given, with more information (presumably about time of release and how to acquire it) “coming soon.” It appears that in Japan at least, its distribution will be tied to the upcoming movie “Pokémon – I Choose You!” — but specifics about its release elsewhere are unknown at the moment.

Stay wired for when those details emerge, which will likely be in the coming days or weeks.
