Yooka-Laylee is almost here (for PS4, Xbox One and PC owners, that is)– and buried within its contents is a subtle nod to Rareware classic Conker’s Bad Fur Day. While it’s nothing that most of you would consider mind-blowing, we still feel compelled to warn you that the video below from GameXplain may be considered a spoiler to some.

 

 
Many of the developers at Playtonic, the folks behind Yooka-Laylee, transferred over from the Rareware team, so it’s no surprise to see Easter eggs like this scattered within. Hopefully, even more vintage Rareware secrets will be discovered in the week following the game’s release.
