Update: GameXplain has just released a video showing a side by side comparison of the game running pre and post patch. It appears that the update does in fact resolve some of the frame rate issues found in certain parts of the game. You can check out the video below.

 


A new update has been made available for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, bringing its version number to 1.1.1.

According to a single line from the Nintendo of America support site, “Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.”

While it’s currently unknown what exactly has changed with this new update, it may have something to do with the low frame rate players have encountered in various locations in the game. Both Wii U and Nintendo Switch owners can download the update now.
