For the past few years Nintendo has been celebrating March 10th as “Mario Day” and this year will be no different. The company has sent out a press release announcing its plans, which range from a charitable push to some discounts on titles starring the famous plumber.

The charity Nintendo will be donating to is Starlight Children’s Foundation, a non-profit organization that seeks to improve the lives of seriously ill children by providing entertainment, innovative technologies and education. Nintendo will be donating to fund new 2000 Brave Gowns, which replace the uncomfortable standard hospital gowns with something a lot more vibrant and colorful. The new designs will feature all sorts of Mario characters and you can check them out below:

Nintendo will also be discounting digital Mario games by 20% on Amazon.com, while supplies last. MyNintendo will also be getting updated with Mario-themed rewards, including discounts on the Wii U’s Mario Kart 8, its DLC, and two wallpapers.

A free Mario frame will also be available to use on your Facebook profile picture, or on any photo you take with the Messenger app.

Finally, the celebrations will continue after March 10th, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe making an appearance at PAX East and Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards this weekend.
