This week’s issue of long-running Japanese magazine Famitsu is going all out with the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild coverage, complete with a unique new piece of art revealed just yesterday. Now their review has also come through, and it’s incredibly positive.

Breath of the Wild is the 24th game to receive a perfect 40/40 from the publication. The reason for the odd number is that the magazine reviews games by assigning four writers to give four scores out of 10. This means Breath of the Wild was a solid 10/10 across the board.

To get an idea of their tastes, here’s the list of prior perfect scorers:

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Soulcalibur
Vagrant Story
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Final Fantasy XII
Nintendogs
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Bayonetta
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
428
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
Monster Hunter Tri
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Pokemon Black / White
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Final Fantasy XIII-2
Grand Theft Auto V
Kid Icarus Uprising
Yakuza 5
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Other Switch games reviewed by Famitsu this week include Super Bomberman R (30/40), Blaster Master Zero (32/40) and Dragon Quest Heroes I-II (36/40).

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
