One of the most prominent indie developers and publishers in recent years is Chucklefish, and now they’re finally making a huge push on a Nintendo system with the Switch.

During today’s Nindies Showcase, three games were announced for the system. First up is last year’s smash-hit Stardew Valley, which has already seen multiple console ports. The Switch version has something special up its sleeve though – it will be the first console to have the game’s multiplayer mode. It will launch this summer.

Next is a port of the Neo Geo Pocket-inspired Pocket Rumble, a retro fighter with deep mechanics. It will be a console exclusive on Switch and will support HD Rumble, with light and heavy attacks registering differently. It will launch in March.

Finally from Chucklefish is Wargroove, a game they teased a few months ago. Heavily inspired by the likes of Advance Wars and Fire Emblem, you’ll be able to take on your friends locally or online in this top-down strategy game. There will also be 12 campaigns to play through. This one will launch at some point later in 2017.

So that’s a pretty solid line-up! We’ll bring you more coverage on these games as it’s made available.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
