UPDATE: Much clearer images of the Rider and Archer Link amiibo boxes have been posted on the amiibo subreddit on Reddit. Each amiibo unlocks rare items in the game including weapons and saddles.
GameXplain has released a new video showcasing the box of the Nintendo Switch alongside the first look at the upcoming Zelda series amiibo. While they can’t go into to much detail at the moment due to a release embargo, we do get a few glimpses at the back of the amiibo boxes, which gives us a few guesses at what they do in the game.
When we take a look at the back of Archer Link, we see it unlocks what looks to be a bow.
The Guardian amiibo appears to unlock items weapons, crafting items, and what appears to be a treasure chest.
The Zelda amiibo looks like it unlocks a shield of some sort, but the image is a bit too blurry to make out all the details.
