For you Binding of Isaac fans who were looking forward to the Switch port of the game, we have some sad news. According to the official blog for the game, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+, originally slated to be a Switch launch title, has been delayed and unfortunately won’t make the Switch launch after all.

If any of you who pre-ordered the game noticed a change in release or delivery date, that’s why.

However, there’s no need to be too upset — the blog post also assures us that the game is still going to make a March release date, just not quite as early as March 3rd.

On a brighter note, it looks like the Launch Edition is going to be packaged with some pretty fun bonuses. For one, there are going to be sticker sheets and a reversible box cover, which had already been previously announced. Also included is a 20-page full cover instruction booklet, which is a beautifully done homage to old game packaging.

So don’t worry, Isaac fans. While there is a delay, it’s only a couple extra days when you think about it (which hardly seems like a wait at all). So hold tight!

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ will be released sometime in March. Pre-order it on Amazon today!
