So far it’s really looking like Playtonic is carrying on Rare’s classic tradition of weird and wonderful worlds when it comes to Yooka-Laylee. Case in point – Capital Cashino, a land of gaudy carpets where the walls are painted gold. IGN recently had a chance to sit down and play through it for 13 minutes, showcasing some of the characters, abilities and areas. Take a look:

It definitely looks like a fun place to explore, especially with the tell-tale tunes of Grant Kirkhope and David Wise accompanying you!

Yooka-Laylee will be launching for PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 11th, while a Switch release is planned for an as-of-yet undecided date in 2017.
