It’s a good time to be a Nintendo fan! Yacht Club Games has just announced that Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch ahead of all other consoles! Treasure Trove will retail for $24.99 while Specter of Torment will retail for $9.99.
No official release date has been announced at this time, however, Yacht Club Games did say the game would be made available during the Switch’s launch window.
“Get ready for Shovel Knight Co-op using Joy-Cons, Specter of Torment, Body Swap Mode, new challenge stages, new feats, and more on your new Nintendo Switch!! The other consoles and standalone versions will follow suit in April (dates to be confirmed once submitted and approved by platform holders).”
Finally, A new Sound Test Mode has also been added to the titles that will include the ability to listen to all the games’ amazing music tracks whenever your heart desires. The Sound Test Mode will be a free update available to all owners of previous Shovel Knight installments. You can check out the official Yacht Club Games blog post for more information!
