UPDATE (1/18): According to Nintendo Life, Constructor will, in fact, not be heading to the Switch at launch. The new release date is April 28th.

While the Nintendo Switch launch-line up may seem like slim-pickings right now, it’s worth noting that there could be some surprises in store ahead of the March 3rd release. One such surprise arrived today – a port of the 20 year old PC city-builder Constructor is heading to the Switch day-and-date with the system.

There’s no word yet on whether it will be a physical or digital release. The UK-based publisher System 3 has published games in both forms, though they mostly lean towards digital releases first and physical releases later. If Constructor is an eShop launch title, that could mean the digital storefront will help bolster the relatively small selection of physical games.

The Nintendo Switch is the latest example of hardware allowing us to bring our unique vision to the market.
