While showing off the different modes the Nintendo Switch can be played in, new footage of Mario Kart on Switch was featured. A new battle mode feature seems to be included, with the video showing balloons attached to karts while featuring a box-like map reminiscent of old Mario Kart battle mode maps. This was a feature that was lackluster in Mario Kart 8 on Wii U, and fans have been clamoring for it ever since.
