While Archie has been running Sonic comics for over two decades now, one of their most exciting experiments lately has been a spin-off series that was kicked off last year to celebrate the blue hedgehog’s 25th anniversary – Sonic: Mega Drive.
Featuring classic designs and a decidedly ’90s aesthetic, Mega Drive doesn’t follow the events of any of the games but focuses on new, simple plots offered by the smaller cast.
The mini-series will be concluding later this year with a third issue, titled Overdrive. This will be quickly followed by a newly announced paperback edition, that collects all three installments.
This paperback collection is available to pre-order now via Amazon US and Amazon UK before its release on July 18th.
