With just a handful of days until Nintendo’s Switch presentation, credible source Nikkei has released a report claiming that the Switch will be priced at ¥25,000 in Japan, which converts into roughly $213 USD.

Now, keep in mind that it’s no guarantee the price will be exactly that, yet a MSRP of $250 is also not unlikely if the Nikkei report is accurate. This information also comes in the wake of some European retailers, such and GAME and GameSeek, pricing their Switch pre-orders at £199.99, which is equal to about $245.

The optimistic pricing is a good sign for the console, and we can only hope these rumors and reports turn out to be true. All this and more should be confirmed later this week at the Switch event. Stay tuned to Nintendo Wire as we cover breaking Switch news leading up to, and during, the event!
