Back at Gamescom 2013, developer Tequila Works announced Rime, a PS4 exclusive puzzle exploration island game-type doohickey. After much silence, however, Rime has been re-revealed – losing its PS4 exclusivity and launching on several platforms, including the Nintendo Switch.

Revealed as part of IGN’s IGN First exclusivity deal for January, the game appears to be some blend of the Wind Waker and the Witness, featuring pastel shades and a young boy going around a ruin solving puzzles. Tequila Works describes the game as “a single-player puzzle adventure about discovery, experienced through the eyes of a young boy who awakens on a mysterious island after shipwrecking off its coast. Players must navigate the island’s secrets by making use of light, sound, perspective and even time. Inspired by the rugged, sunbaked terrain of the Mediterranean coast, Rime paints its breathtaking world with a fusion of vibrant colors and moving musical undertones to set the stage for the deeply personal journey that awaits within.”

You can check out the re-reveal trailer below. IGN promises more Rime news throughout the month, so we’ll be sure to keep up to date with any more tidbits.
