Even though Bomberman’s first entry for the Nintendo 64 launched way back in 1997 and has likely been played millions of times since, there were still secrets uncovered until recently. Skelux, the creator of the multiplayer Mario 64 ROM hack, peered into the files of Bomberman 64 and discovered 4 beta testing stages. Check them out:
It’s nice to know that even in this age of data-mining and ROM hacking there are secrets still uncovered in some classic games. Here’s hoping Bomberman Hero is next, just so we have an opportunity to link to the amazing song Redial.
