Nintendo of Europe has released a new video and documentation that explores the original creation of The Legend of Zelda and its maps. The brief video showcases item and enemy placement when the concept was first conceived in the 1980s.

Original drawings from Takashi Tezuka and Shigeru Miyamoto were also shared that displays the differences between the concept and the final product.

All of this concept art has us praying for the possibility of a “Legend of Zelda Maker.” Come on, Nintendo, make it happen!

You can check out all the concept art over at the official Nintendo U.K. webpage.
