We’re slowly but surely approaching the Nintendo Switch event that will be broadcast out of Tokyo on January 12th. Now, more of Nintendo’s plans are coming to light, with the Tokyo stream being followed by a hands-on private event in New York the next day.

While specifics haven’t been revealed Nintendo states that it “will further emphasize some of the details that Nintendo plans to announce.”

Of course there’s lots of speculation to be done – when will the public be able to go hands on? Will it be held at the refurbished Nintendo Store in the city? Will other cities around the world also get their own events?

We’ll bring you these answers as we get closer to the Switch events. Just a month and a half to go!
