It’s hard to understate how much of the internet has changed since Pokémon first hit the scene in the late ’90s. Thankfully the Pokémon Company is here to take us back in time with its official website for the XY Evolutions Trading Card Game expansion.
Taking design cues from the hundreds of TCG fansites that populated Geocities back in the day, the site has vibrant colors, gaudy animations, hot MIDI jams and even a visit counter. Better yet, you can even watch the first Pokémon movie in full, for free! It’s definitely worth exploring for a heavy dose of nostalgia.
