Niantic has posted a blog update detailing the release notes for Pokémon GO version 0.41.2 for Android devices and version 1.11.2 for iOS devices.

This newest update will bring the previously-announced type-specific capture bonuses to the game, as well as a tweak to make gyms easier to train at for members of controlling teams.

The update will also bring live updates to the egg and incubator screens, so that trainers won’t have to close and reopen the screen to see how far they have walked.

Other things included are minor bug and audio fixes and a decrease in the length of the evolution animation.

There’s no word yet on exactly when this update will go live, but stay connected to Nintendo Wire for more news as it becomes available!
