Strategy RPG fans get ready to order your units around once more, as Mercenary Saga 3 is hitting Japan very soon on October 5th! Featuring the same Final Fantasy Tactics-esque art style and and gameplay, it looks like a fun alternative for those who have exhausted Fire Emblem and want something a little lighter. Despite being one of the cheaper 3DS eShop titles available, the game’s immediate predecessor Mercenary Saga 2 offers quite a lot of strategic gameplay for the price. At 500 yen it looks like this sequel will be in the same boat, so we’ll be sure to let you know if the game is announced for a western release.
