It’s summer, which means it’s the perfect time for two things: delicious frosted treats and staying inside to play video games and avoid the sun. Someone at Nintendo must be thinking the same thing, because Nintendo and frozen yogurt chain Yogurtland are teaming up for a special promotion from July 1st to September 8th. According to a press release, the two companies will join forces to adorn Yogurtland walls, cups, and special biodegradable spoons with Mario and his pals.
Yogurtland will also introduce special Mario themed flavors, including Mario’s Chocolate Gelato, Luigi’s White Chocolate, and Toad’s Rocky Road. This would have been the perfect opportunity to introduce a new mushroom yogurt, but I suppose hindsight is 20/20.
Yogurtland will also be holding an online contest for a chance to win multiple prizes, including Wii U and 3DS consoles, games, and endless supplies of yogurt. So if your two favorite things in the world are Mario games and frozen dairy products, you’re certainly in luck!
