An interview with Pierre-Paul Trepanier, CEO of Nintendo of Canada, has appeared in an article from Canadian media outlet LaPresse.ca today that sheds some light on when we can expect to hear more about Nintendo’s next console, NX.
It roughly translates to:
“We decided to focus on Zelda,” he said, referring to Nintendo’s E3 2016 showcase. “We’ll talk about the NX this Fall. At that time, it will be one hundred percent NX. There, it is one hundred percent Zelda.”
While it’s not quite as soon as we would have hoped, having some kind of time frame in mind may make the wait a bit easier. It’s also nice to hear that when it does come time to blow the lid off NX, it will receive Nintendo’s undivided focus.
