A brand new trailer for the upcoming Zelda game in 2017 has just been revealed at the start of Nintendo’s first E3 Treehouse Live event.

Describing it as a brand new experience, Reggie Fils-Aimé has said that the game could potentially change the way we look at the series as a whole and forever change the format in the same way the original did.

The first, and possibly most notable feature shown off in the trailer, is the fact that for the first time ever, voice-acting will be a full feature for the game. While not much about the voice heard in the trailer is known, hearing a potential character say Link’s name in the game is something to be excited about.

The trailer’s visuals are breathtaking, and show off a number of features that will be introduced in the game. Introducing a Hyrule that is “truly seamless,” the game shows off Link’s horse riding, rock climbing, and swimming, new items (including a hang glider)– along with a Hyrule that is a completely immersive and is described as a tool and resource. The creatures inhabiting it are diverse and fantastical, and will offer Link both challenge and adventure as you explore the land that’s both new and familiar.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a huge and expansive experience unlike any other Zelda before. Full of nature, adventure and excitement, the game looks insanely promising, offering something entirely new that could very well be definitive for the rest of the Legend of Zelda franchise.

Check out the full, and rather incredible trailer, below.
