Some of you may remember from last year that Dentsu Entertainment USA had announced that it was teaming up with Man of Action Entertainment to start on a new animated series based on the Mega Man franchise. While there hasn’t been much news regarding the project since then, it does look like the project is still happening.
An updated landing page from Dentsu Entertainment USA’s website confirms this. While the site doesn’t give much info about the upcoming series, it does tell us that it’s still on its way to us. Dentsu’s website does say that it’s aiming for a 2017 launch– to coincide with Mega Man’s 30th anniversary. A logo has also been revealed.
According to Destructoid, who came across the landing page, the screenplays are also being written as of right now.
We’ve got high hopes for this one, so let’s hope 2017 doesn’t disappoint!
