The 3DS port of Hyrule Warriors was released in Europe today, and will be hitting North American stores tomorrow. With its launch comes two downloadable updates, for both versions of the game.
The Wii U update will allow you to play as the new characters featured in Hyrule Warriors Legends, so long as you have the code which comes with all new copies of the 3DS game. These characters will be made available to purchase separately in Summer 2016.
The 3DS update enables the buying of downloadable content, and also lets you clear saved data from your copy of the game by holding A+B+X+Y upon launching from the HOME menu. It also improves game stability.
