Capcom & Konami bringing Super Nintendo classics to the New 3DS in Japan

Nintendo made some pretty big waves last night when it announced that classic Super Nintendo games were coming exclusively to the New 3DS Virtual Console. Depending on which region you live in, you were treated to a variety of games ranging from Super Mario World to EarthBound.

Folks living in Japan were treated to the biggest haul of games, which include not only Nintendo published games, but a sizable list of both Capcom and Konami titles as well. Check out a full list of titles from the two publishers below.

Capcom:

Mega Man X
Mega Man X2
Mega Man X3
Mega Man 7
Street Fighter II Turbo
Super Street Fighter 2
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Final Fight
Final Fight 2
Final Fight Guy
Super Ghouls and Ghosts.

Konami:

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
Contra III: The Alien Wars
Super Castlevania IV

While there has been no offical confirmation of these games being made available in other regions, it’s safe to say that it’s only a matter of time before they make their way across the pond!
