Nintendo is adding yet another game to the Mario Party franchise. It’s time to gather your friends (and enemies) and have a dice-rolling, mini-game playing blast in Super Mario Party Jamboree. Building onto Super Mario Party’s online functionality with bigger and better mini-game marathons, Super Mario Party Jamboree introduces the new Koopathlon mode where up to 20 players can compete in mini-games. In standard “Mario Party” modes, 7 game boards will be available, including the return of Mario’s Rainbow Castle (Mario Party) and Western Land (Mario Party 2). And as for playable characters, two Super Mario Bros. characters are finally joining the party: Pauline and Ninji.

Is there a limited edition or special edition of Super Mario Party Jamboree?
No. Super Mario Party Jamboree will only be available in standard edition. Yet, this standard edition comes with a bonus – a free 3 month Individual Membership for Nintendo Switch Online. Will Super Mario Party Jamboree have a midnight launch?
Yes and no. Super Mario Party Jamboree will released digitally on 9 p.m. PT (Wednesday, October 16th, 2024) | 12 p.m. ET (Thursday, October 17th, 2024) when purchased from the North American Nintendo eShop.
Physical copy pre-orders of Super Mario Party Jamboree will be available on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 when your local retailer opens.
Are there any pre-order bonuses or gift with purchase offers for Super Mario Party Jamboree?
Yes, the following retailer(s) have announced they’ll be offering pre-order bonuses (while supplies last): Best Buy, GameStop, and Target.
Pre-order bonuses for US retailers: a tote bag (at Best Buy), a party tin (at Target), and a dice block keychain (at GameStop).
Best Buy – Tote Bag
Best Buy is offering a Tote Bag featuring Super Mario Party Jamboree’s box art on one side and key art of various characters on the other. According to Best Buy’s fine print, “Offer beings 9/9/2024, in store and online, while supplies last. Pre-order or purchase of Super Mario Party Jamboree required. Exclusive Canvas Tote will be provided upon receipt of game. Limit one per person. See participating retailers for details.” If you pre-order your copy of Super Mario Party Jamboree online and select in-store pickup for your order, your Tote Bag may only be shipped to your address (no in-store pickup offered).
GameStop – Dice Block Keychain
GameStop is offering a Dice Block Keychain – the same one being offer via My Nintendo UK Store. While there is no fine print for this offer, similar rules to previous pre-order offers may apply: Pre-order or purchase of Super Mario Party Jamboree game required. Limit one dice block keychain per purchase. Deposit is required for pre-orders. Offer available while supplies last. Dice block keychain will be provided upon paid balance and receipt of game. See participating retail locations for details.”
Target – Party Tin
Target is offering a Party Tin with purchase of Super Mario Party Jamboree on launch day (while supplies last). This is in-store only bonus (like previous bonuses at Target). As we get closer to Super Mario Party Jamboree’s release date, a Target ad may advertise this offer along with some fine print (“Store only; quantities limited, no rain checks.“). No size dimensions of the party tin have been shared online.
Note: Previous pre-orders with in-store pick up select may qualify for this gift with purchase. Be aware that the gift with purchase item is available to first come, first serve, and available while supplies last.
Are there any pre-order bonuses exclusive to Europe or Japan?
Yes, there are pre-order bonuses exclusive to Europe and Japan. These bonuses can, technically, be acquired by pre-ordering Super Mario Party Jamboree through a proxy service (they’ll have the order shipped to them and then they’ll ship it to you). Keep in mind that there is a chance that some of these items may also be offered in North America (if the pre-order bonuses haven’t been announced yet).
My Nintendo Store UK and Ireland – 3D Keyring and Star Pin Set + bundles
The My Nintendo Store in Europe is offering a variety of Super Mario Party Jamboree bundles. Any bundle of the game will come with a 3D Keyring and a Super Mario Party Jamboree – Star Pin Set. Other items exclusive to the store are a Super Mario Pipe Pen Holder, Super Mario Part Jamboree Coaster Set, Super Mario Party Jamboree Snack Bowl, and a Super Mario Party Jamboree Blanket. (Items are not to scale.) Orders will only ship within Europe.
Amazon Japan – Clear Pouch
Amazon Japan has an exclusive bundle for Super Mario Party Jamboree that includes a clear pouch.
I pre-ordered Super Mario Party Jamboree at a retailer when a pre-order bonus wasn’t available. Now the retailer announced they’ll have a pre-order bonus. Do I still get the item?
Most likely yes. You’ll need to read up on the retailer’s Terms of Service regarding pre-order bonuses. In the past, retailers like Best Buy automatically applied the pre-order bonus to all pre-orders made before they announced their offer and sent an e-mail out confirming this (i.e.: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom).
Help! My pre-order was canceled!
If your order wasn’t canceled due to insufficient funds/payment issues, it might have been canceled due to stock issues. Retailers have over sold certain games in the past (due to not receiving the number of units they thought they were getting). If your pre-order of Super Mario Party Jamboree was canceled, more than likely you’ll have to reorder through another retailer.
Is there a game demo of Super Mario Party Jamboree?
Yes. Multiple in-person demos of Super Mario Party Jamboree have been available prior to the game’s launch. The first demo was at PAX West 2024 in September. This demo could only be played at the venue at Nintendo’s booth (Booth #1939 in the Arch Expo Hall) during event hours.
As of Friday, October 4th, 2024, retailers in the United States (Best Buy, Target, GameStop, etc.) that have Nintendo demo kiosks are offering a Super Mario Party Jamboree demo. Play time for this demo is capped at 10 minutes.
Will there be a Super Mario Party Jamboree-themed Nintendo Switch?
No. Nintendo hasn’t announced that there will be a Super Mario Party Jamboree-themed Nintendo Switch console (in the standard, Lite, and OLED models).
Will there be an amiibo released with Super Mario Party Jamboree?
No, Nintendo has yet to announce if any amiibo (new or reprints) will launch alongside Super Mario Party Jamboree. Plus, Nintendo has yet to confirm if Super Mario Party Jamboree will have any amiibo support.
