The Nintendo Switch 2 is officially here, and while everyone’s off racing in Mario Kart World or hacking away in Cyberpunk 2077, I’m doing what I do best: opening amiibo! That’s right, four new Legend of Zelda amiibo just dropped: Yunobo, Tulin, Riju, and Sidon. Each one unlocks special gear and paraglider fabric in Tears of the Kingdom. Here’s everything we’ve unlocked so far!

Note: You can only scan each amiibo once per day, and getting the paraglider fabric is far from guaranteed. But don’t worry — if you didn’t get what you wanted, reload a previous save and try again!

Yunobo

Scanning the Yunobo amiibo drops various rocks and ores, plus a chest that may contain the Cobble Crusher. If you’re lucky, you’ll unlock the Sage of Fire Fabric for your paraglider.

Tulin

The Tulin amiibo spawns a bunch of fruit and a chest that might contain a Falcon Bow. With a bit of luck, you’ll also get the Sage of Wind Fabric for your paraglider.

Riju

Scan Riju and you’ll get a spread of meats and a chest that can contain the Gerudo Scimitar, Gerudo Shield, and possibly the Sage of Lightning Fabric.

Sidon

The Sidon amiibo drops tasty fish and a chest that might include the Zora Spear. If luck’s on your side, you’ll also get the Sage of Water Fabric.

How Do I Change My Paraglider Fabric?

Once you’ve unlocked a fabric or two, head over to the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village. Talk to Sayge, pay 20 Rupees, and you’ll be able to update your paraglider’s look. Easy as that!
