Guide – Kirby’s Dream Buffet – All Gourmet Rank Rewards

Kirby’s latest spinoff has rolled onto Nintendo Switch and into our hearts. Insatiably cute, beyond its gameplay the main addiction here is raising your Gourmet Rank to unlock rewards. These include costumes and colors for Kirby (which often reference characters from across the series’ 30 years) as well as more music tracks and stages. 

We’ve poured over the menu and have the full list of unlockables, including some extra special treats for having save data from other Kirby games on Switch. Read on to learn when you can gobble up your favorites, and find out what’s in store for the most voracious Dream Land denizens. 

 

How to raise Gourmet Rank in Kirby’s Dream Buffet

 

Simply put — play the game! Whether solo, local, or online; you’ll gain Gourmet Rank (and thus, rewards) by picking a mode from the Main Menu on your Home Table. The better you do (that is, the more strawberries you eat) the more Gourmet Rank points you’ll gather. Each mode has a multiplier for Gourmet Rank as well. Depending on what difficulty/mode you’re playing, this bonus goes up, with online play providing the biggest multiplier. 

 

What’s the max Gourmet Rank in Kirby’s Dream Buffet?

 

The highest Gourmet Rank you can have in Kirby’s Dream Buffet is 135. To reach Gourmet Rank 135, you’ll need to amass a grand total of 100,000 points!
