Shantae series developer WayForward has announced Shantae 5, coming to Nintendo Switch and other platforms later this year.
The news was shared via a tweet, which also mentioned its arrival on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and newly-announced Apple Arcade.

Not much information can be gleaned from the tweet apart from a new art style for series protagonist Shantae, departing from the simplified look she and other characters received in 2016’s Shantae: Half-Genie Hero.
